Day Two of Half Term

Day two was a day at home again. We did pop out as Mummy needed to go to the bank, and sort something out with them. And as I was a good girl Mummy said I could have a McDonald's, woohoo.

We went to the library again as I read all my books that I picked up from there on Monday. I love reading at the moment.

We also got talking to an old woman at the bus stop. She seemed really nice and asked why all the kids are off school. That's what she was asking Mummy.

Once we got back home we played with Lego. Also I got a new bow and arrow for Christmas so Mummy made a target on the window in her bedroom and we played for about an 1 hour. Then I played with my Dolls House for a bit.

That's all we did today, not much but I had fun.

My book reviews

Day One of Half Term

So each day of half term I am going to write what's been going on and show you what I have been wearing.

So on Monday it was really a day at home and I still had my dancing lesson at 4pm. We did pop out at Midday so that Mummy could go and pick up something up from one of the school mummies. We stayed there for about an hour and I played with Matthew and Jake, playing hide and seek and some Lego.

Each day this week Mummy said I can pick my own clothes out, so today I have been Tinkerbell with white leggings. Mummy said I had to put legging on as you could see my bottom if I didn't wear them.

At dancing we are getting ready for our competition. I really enjoy the dancing at the moment, it's so fun and I think we are doing well at it and may even win at the competition. Well I hope we do.

It's time for bed and I am having my Hot Coco while my Mummy helps me write this. I will be doing this again tomorrow for you and showing you my outfit.

Weekly Homework

So I thought I would tell you what I get for my homework each week.
I am in year two at school (that's UK school for a 6 - 7 year old). I get Maths, English & spellings and we are put into groups for Maths and spelling. There are only two groups for Maths and I am in the lower one. For spelling there are about 8 groups but I'm not too sure where I am in that lot.

This week spelling is ok. I found some of them hard but overall OK. On my first try I got 9 out of 10 so I was pleased with that.
This week in English we had to write what it's like to be a Sloth as we are learning about the Amazon Rainforest. I found this homework fun as I like learning about the different kinds of animals and Sloths are lovely and lazy things.

Now onto Maths which was OK. At school we have to use Number Lines but Mummy showed me a different way and the way Mummy showed me is easier than the way school showed me. So Mummy is going to ask if I can have a bit of paper next to me to help me out.

Top Five - Disney films

There are so many Disney films out and so many good once so it was hard picking my Top Five, but I have and I did a little YouTube about it. So if you feel like it, go over and have a look at that. I have changed one from the video as it was a Christmas DVD...

5) The Princess And The Frog
It's about Princess Tiana, who turns into a frog. It's very funny with a singing and trumpet playing alligator. I like all the music in it as it's fun & loud. My mummy and daddy like sitting down with me and watching this. I think this is one of my mummy's favourites too.

4) Monsters Inc.
Everyone must love this film, how couldn't they with Boo, Sulley & Mike. It's all about getting power to make their city work by getting screams from children. Boo comes through one of the doors and they realised she was OK and try to return her to her mum and dad.

3) Peter Pan
There is only one reason I love Peter Pan so much and that's because of Tinkerbell. She's my favourite character in the film but there are lots of other characters in the film like Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Wendy. It's about Wendy and her brothers going to Neverland and having lots of fun.

2) The Little Mermaid
Mummy said this one was her favourite when she was younger and she has a video of it still. It's like a big brick size thing that you but in another thing that goes onto the telly. It's weird. The film is about a mermaid that falls in love with her prince and wants to have legs. I would like to be a mermaid too as it would be fun I think.

1) Bolt

I can watch this film over and over again. I'ts about a dog called Bolt who thinks he's a super dog with super powers but it's all for a TV show and he doesn't know it. That is until he escapes from the set looking for Penny, when he goes on a fun adventure and makes some friends along the way.

January Goals List

1) To do a blog post every week with the help of my mummy and daddy. Done

2) Get to 110 on my YouTube. I am so happy that I got to 100 on New Year's Eve, so my wish came true and I just want to do it more now. Done

3) Go up a level in reading at school. Failed 

February Goals List

1) Get to 140 on YouTube... at 132 at the moment.

2) Know my x3 x4 x6 times tables.

3) Finish my little project with my daddy.
