2017 Lookover

This is just going to be a little blog post on 2017.

2017 has been a great year, I have done so many things, but with all the good things that have been going on I did have one bad thing happened to me and that was that I broke my wrist in July on my sports day. My wrist is better now but it did really hurt when it happend. But pretty much the rest of the year was really good. I have been on so many holidays with my family, we went to Scotland, I've been to Center Parcs and we've done our little annual holiday to Kessingland.
School has also been going well, at the moment I really enjoy science and I'm doing pretty okay in Maths, but I'm not great at English or reading but I don't actually enjoy them. I find those two things rather boring, it's not that I don't enjoy reading, it's just when we have to read certain books that I am not into, as a class. When that happens I kind of just go into my own little world and don't take much notice of the book so when it comes to doing a quiz on it I get low marks. I'm really enjoying choir at school, which I've been doing since year three and I plan to do it until I leave Primary School in year six. I just hope they have a choir club in high school when I go.

I have so many things going around in my head that I want to happen in 2018, I just hope I can achieve some of them.

Birthday Party

The other night I had one of my friend's birthday parties. Let's call her dancing S. As you know I don't use real names in my blogs. She turned nine years old and her mum hired out a room in the pub nearby only five minutes from my house and right opposite the school. And of course I got dressed up in a nice outfit. My mum was also invited as she is friends with dancing S's mum.

When we got there I saw a photo booth. I've got a few photos with my friends, there was also a garden out the back with trampolines, footballs and other fun outdoor things. I spent a lot of time out there. There were so many balloons as well and we all know how much I love balloons. She even had a Pinata but there was nowhere to hang it up so her mum in the end just threw all the sweets in the air and we had to catch them. I was in the perfect location for this, right in the middle and instead of trying to catch them I went straight to the floor to pick up the ones that everyone missed. I've got lots of my favourite sweets.

We didn't end up leaving the party until about 9 o'clock. Mum dropped me home and she went back just for one more drink with her friends. It was a fantastic party. Oh, thank you very much dancing S, and happy birthday

August Lookover

August was full of lots of fun, as we didn't have any school, which was actually great. We went on a little holiday to Scotland, for h we spent a lot of time in the car as it was a lot of driving. Also I stayed at my cousins for a few nights as my mum had to look after my cousins and my auntie was at work. I went to Paradise Wildlife Park, had some bowling fun and had lots of mummy and daughter time making cakes and doing crafts in the house as some of the weather was not great.

It was also my birthday and my mummy's too, it was mine first and then my mum's two days after. That's the week my dad had off work so we did quite a few things that week.

Overall I had a fantastic August, bit of a shame that we are back at school but it's only 6 weeks until our next week off.

Story Time - Broken Wrist

Sorry I haven't been around lately just been having some time off, I've had lots of things going on at school. I have broken my wrist and it makes it hard to write as I broke my wrist on my right, and that's the hand I write with. I have been resting it up and making sure I don't overdo it.

This post is all about when I broke my wrist.  It was on sports day. All was fine for the morning bit of sports day, they were throwing and running races, nothing that interesting. I had lunch as normal and then it was outside in the playground to do some more of the fun games.
The first game was a beanbag race with it on your head, where you walk up and down with it on your head. That was fine but we had some time left afterwards, before we had to go on to the next game so one of the helpers in our class said now to do it backwards. And that is where it all went wrong. I got the beanbag, put it on my head, started walking backwards. That was okay until I got back to the end where my group was waiting for me. I didnt see them as I was walking backwards so I tripped over one of them, fell into the basketball post and I landed really awkwardly on my arm.
Then I pretty much screamed. I got taken straight to First Aid and had some ice put on it. Luckily my mum was there as she works there so she rang my dad and we went to hospital to get it checked out.

And of course I broke my wrist. By the time you have read this I don't have my cast on anymore but I still have to be really careful with my wrist as it's going to be weak for a bit.

It's funny as I'm the first one in my family to actually break a bone, thought it would be one of my cousins first but no, it was me.

Here is a little video that I did last year I hope you enjoy make sure watch and have fun.

May Lookover

28th May - Okay I've completely forgotten to write about my week as I've been busy with school and dancing, I'm just having fun as a child really. I haven't been doing much of YouTube either but would really like to start getting back into that again as I really enjoy it and it let's me get my creativity out. So what's been going on this month?

Well I have been working really hard at school and it's paying off as on most of my tests that include maths and spellings I've been getting full marks, 15 out of 15 on my spellings and 25 out of 25 on my maths work. I now get to start doing the year five maths tests. We've been learning a lot about Shakespeare too and I have been enjoying it but after two weeks of Shakespeare it got kind of boring. We got to look at the play Romeo and Juliet, my mum says there is a film based on this too so maybe we can sit and watch it together, but I'm not sure if we have it on DVD.

Dancing has been going well, there are competitions at the moment but I am not in them, I'm just having a bit of a break from competitions. But I really like not being in them as it's only four of us not doing them and we get taken to one side to learn different things. We are learning how to spin properly and I love doing that. I think my spinning has come on really well, can't wait to do it like the big girls do at dancing. Also we have been doing jumps & straddles, which I am getting pretty good at too.

As of today I have a week off school, it's just me and mummy for the week and I don't think we have any plans, which I'm quite looking forward to. Only plan we have is maybe going to see my auntie and my cousin on Wednesday and of course what we do every time we have off, we will be doing some baking. And she will be helping me make some YouTube videos too as I have so many ideas going on in my head.

April Lookover

 12th April - Hello April
The weather has been lovely so far in April, and the best thing about April is that I am off school for about three weeks I don't go back until Thursday, which I find very weird as that means only two days at school that week, but I am not complaining.

The first week of Easter I went on a family holiday just mum , dad and me to the Isle of Wight, and we stayed in a lodge cabin type of thing, but the best thing about that was that it had a jacuzzi in it, and we went in it every day, and even late at night which I loved. We also went out and about to places like The Needles where we went on a speedboat which was fantastic. And we spent some time on the beach.
When we got home dad had to go back to work but mum was still off and we have just been having fun at home, we went to see the film Beauty and the Beast one day and had a cheeky McDs for lunch. We got ourselves VIP seats at the movies which I love, they are so big and comfortable.

18th April - Easter weekend has just been and I had lots of fun, I have seen lots of family. At first we went to my Nanna's house to see my mum's side of family and had lots of fun doing an Easter egg hunt with all my little cousins. On the 17th April I did the same again with my dad's side of the family but all my cousins on that side are older than me. We did end up going to the park and playing football which was really fun. Now we're back home having a few chill out days as I am back to school on Thursday.

30th April - I have got my dance exam result back and I have only gone and passed it! I worked hard on that and I am very happy that I passed.

March Lookover

March

March has been a busy one for me, I have had swimming lessons at school every Wednesday and we are practicing for our school play that we are doing at the end of term. The play is Aladdin, not like the film, we are putting our own spin on it. I also had my Dance exam in Ballet and my Singing Prep Test this month. I think they both went well but I will find out in April if I have passed them both and if so by how much.

In the play I have a very small role and have one line but I am on stage a lot and have a lot of singing to do. Other than that not much else has happened, I hope you enjoyed my little blog x

January Lookover

I thought I would do a monthly blog post where I would write what I got up to each month for you all and for me to look back on at some point.
So here we go.

In January I had to get back into the school routine which was hard. I also joined two school clubs, Choir that I do every term as I really enjoy it as I love to sing, and I also joined a new one called Film Club where we get to sit and watch a film for an hour and then say what we thought about it. I really like that too. I do both my clubs with my best friend Faye. In school we have also started swimming lessons, we have only been three times and I love that too even though I have to wear a swimming hat and it does not look good. It's really hard to put on so I have to ask the teacher help me with that.

Dancing is going really well and I love it. My teachers are great and make us work hard but that's how we get better. I also had a lesson with a woman called Rosina Andrews who is an international dancer and she helped us with pirouettes which I loved and found really fun. I still need to work on my acro as I am great with backbends and flips but I would love to be better.

The other thing that has happend is that I stayed the night at my Nanny's house and she took me to the movies to see Sing. Oh my it was great and I really enjoyed it and I think my Nanny enjoyed it too. Not much else has been going on other than the normal things that I get up to every day.

Here is my youtube video please take a look,

2017

Yes, it is 2017. I had a fantastic year last year going to Disney World with my family and Canada to see some family.

Can I make this year better though? Well I don't think I will be going to Disney again this year but I can still make this year great. I have two big things planned already, they may not be big things to you but they are big things to me... One of them is me having my first music exam in Singing and the other is another Dancing exam and it's been a while since I've done one so I am pretty nervous for both of them. Also this term at school I have started swimming lessons, we only have half an hour in the pool and there are 30 of us trying to learn so we don't get much time, but I still enjoy it.

I plan to work hard this year on the things that I want to do well in and also the things that I'm not so good at.
I hope I can stick to it.

Reasons to be Cheerful

1) No more School
I have finished school. On the 19th July it was my last day in year three, I was a little bit upset but also very grateful that I had a good year and worked hard. My reading has gone up a level and my maths is a lot better.

2) Pool Fun
We got invited to go to mummy's friend's house and they have a pool, so we I spent most of the afternoon in the pool with my friends.

3) Playdoh Fun
I asked for Playdoh for my birthday and I got some. I love playing with it, so thank you everyone who got me some. I love the Princess Set I got.

4)  Fun with My Cousins
My cousins came down to our house (14/8/16) and we went to a little free farm to see some little sheep and then got to play some football and play on the trampoline with them in my garden.

March 2016

So what has happened in March, well two main things... First, that I went to the Royal Albert Hall with my school choir and I absolutely loved it. It was a very long day but it was worth it, it was great. My mum and dad came to watch me as well as my Nanny and I sang my little heart out. It was pretty cool as well because my dad is a musician and he knew quite a few of the people on stage so that means that I knew some of the people on stage too.

So the other exciting thing that happened in March and one of the reasons why this blog post is so late is that I went on a two week holiday. We went on the 27th March to Heathrow Airport and jumped on a plane to Canada for a week and then once April came we went to Disneyworld. But that's for my April lookover. We went to Canada to see our family and I really liked seeing my cousin Benny as the last time I saw him he was a baby.

Dancing is still going well and I'm getting ready for our dance show. I have been having singing lessons with my daddy and am hoping to do my prep-test later on in the year.

Not much else has happened this month but in April so far a lot more has happened so can't wait to tell you more about that in the next one.

Royal Albert Hall

I was lucky enough to go to the Royal Albert Hall to perform with my choir. I got told it was going to be a long day and they weren't wrong. We left school at about 11:15 and got to the Royal Albert Hall at about 1ish. We had lunch as soon as we got there outside in Hyde Park by the big gold statue of Prince Albert.

Then we had to go into the Royal Albert Hall to put our things up. We had to walk up so many stairs and it hurt my legs after a while. I think they called it the gallery where it was right at the top. Once we were there we had a little rest and looked over the side. It was so high up I felt a little bit sick!

Then we had to go all the way back down and find our seats ready for the rehearsal. Rehearsal took up until about 5 o'clock. Then we got were let out to enjoy our pizzas for tea, which the music teacher had ordered for us. We went back to where we sat and had lunch to eat the pizzas and all they all went as there were 25 of us kids eating them and three of the grown ups that were with us too.

Then it was back upstairs to put coats and bags back and go straight back downstairs ready for the concert. I was so nervous but I was with all my friends so it was okay. By this time I was very tired but I had so much fun doing it and at the end loads of balloons fell down from the ceiling. I loved it at first and I got myself a balloon but then they started popping the balloons and that scared me a little bit. I was brave as I really wanted one and then I saw mummy and daddy. Daddy drove to the Royal Albert Hall so we got in the car and went home but we did go via McDonald's so I got a cheeky Happy Meal, chicken nuggets of course. I think I fell asleep in the car after that for about 10 minutes. I don't really remember much after that but mummy said we got home at midnight and I still had to go to school the next day for 8.25am.

I really enjoyed it and would love to do it again, so hopefully in two years' time I can.

Why don't you come along a have a look at my book review

February 2016

Well February has been OK but I have not been up to much. I had a week off school for half term and we didn't do much and I had my friend Sidney over to play, we made jelly and pizza together for one of my YouTube videos.

I have started doing Acro with Dance Shak and I am really enjoying it. I am getting more flexible and getting a lot better at the splits, I still can't do it fully but by the summer I hope I can. I am still loving my dancing but drama is getting a bit boring at the moment as it's full of baby games and only the last 15 mins is for the girls and boys my age singing and that's the bit I love.

I have been doing a lot of  practice with my school choir for the Royal Albert Hall, where I will be performing in March. I am very excited to be doing this and can't wait for mummy and daddy to see me on stage.

I have started doing singing lessons, not with a teacher though but with my daddy. I think my daddy will put me in for my exam this spring. It's only my prep test but I hope I will be able to pass it so I can start my grade one.

My YouTube is doing OK. I have stuck to uploading on Wednesdays and that is working for me. I  have 264 people, which is great.

Life Update

So what's been going on you all ask. Well, I've been back at school and it's okay other than I have to sit with the boys and they are kind of smelly.

At the moment dancing is full on as I have my dance competition coming up next week. The first weekend I have my classical ballet duo with Keili and I have my quartet modern with Penny, Sidney and Poppie. It's going to be a lot of hard work but I hope I do okay and don't fall flat on my face.

Oh I got some good news at school today, I'm in the choir. I wanted to do the choir last year but I couldn't as it's only open to years 3 to 6 and now that I am in year 3 I can do it it. They only had a limited number of spaces in it and I got one of them. I'm so happy. I start on Wednesday after school and I'll keep you up-to-date with it.

My mum is sorting out a lot of my clothes recently because I'm growing out of them very fast so now I don't have any party dresses. I think I need to look out for some pretty ones. Also mum has to get me some new long-sleeved tops and thicker ones for the winter. So I have to keep an eye out for nice ones of them too.

Also for Avon one of daddy's friends put a big order in for us. I love her for that at the moment. I think we put orders in at about £80-£100 a month, that's okay as we are still just starting out and next year I am going to work a lot harder.

That's all that's been going on really, I'll let you know if anything else changes and I'll definitely let you know how my dance competitions go. Though I don't think I will win anything but I'm going to give it a good go, wish me luck. I have to go and try on my dancing outfits now, hope they still fit me.

Excited to go Back to School

I think I may be the only one excited to go back to school. Everyone I see doesn't want to go back but I do, is that wrong of me? I love learning and can't wait to see what can happen in year three.

I've met my new teacher and she seems really nice. And I've been working over the summer holiday so I hope I'm not in the lowest group when I get back. I've had a fun summer with my mummy and daddy making lots of cakes, going away, going to the park and just chilling out at home sometimes.

But I want to get my teeth into more. I want to see all my friends and tell them all about my summer holidays. I've missed my best friend Faye as I haven't seen her. I've seen some of my friends over the holidays like my nutty friend Keili who lives down the road and a few of my dancing friends. I had my birthday party that happened at the beginning of August and quite a few of my friends came to that.

People have been saying that year three will be a lot harder, that's because I'm going to the juniors and won't be in infants any more. I don't think it will be that hard, first of all it won't be anyway as I think they'll just get us used to being back to school.

I will let you know how my first day goes. I think I'll be fine, well I hope it will be fine anyway.

Here is a little video that I made about going back to school.

What I got for my birthday

Hi guys I am back and thought I would show you and tell you what I got for my birthday.

Well first up I got a Hudl, it's a Tesco version of an iPad and I love it. My mum has put a few apps on there for me and I also have CBBC on there that I love watching. My favourite show is the Next Step, it's all about dancing.

I also got a big Lego set and it only took me a day to make it, I'm getting so good at that now.  It was the Lego Friends Beach House. It's great, it's got a person windsurfing on it and some stairs as it's a two level house. I found it easy to make and it's 6 -12 years but I do love Lego and play with Lego most days.

And my other big present I actually got a bit early because they wanted me to use it for most of the summer, it was my bike. I've done a blog post on this and I'll leave the link here for you to see. Her name is Oceana and I love riding her. I just love the colour of her and she's got a basket on the front of it that I put all my things in.

Also got some other bits like a Lush bath bomb and some money from my friends. I am so grateful for everything that I got so thank you to everyone who got something for me, I love them all.

Here is a little back to school video for you all x

My Plans for the Summer Holidays

I will be having a month off schools for the summer holidays. Here are 8 things that I'd love to do with my family or friends.

1) Having the best birthday and birthday party I possibly can. I will be turning seven and I cannot wait.

2) Learn how to swim. Mummy said that she can take me to the swimming pool and will try and get me to be able to swim. I just get very scared that I'm going to go under and get it all in my eyes and up my nose. Mummy says that it will happen but she will stop anything else happening to me. She will be right there with me so I need to be brave.

3) Have a lovely little holiday with my family. We go to Kessingland every year just for a week. I want to make the most of that before daddy has to go back to work.

4) learn all my timestables... I know my 2, 3, a bit of my 4 my 5, 10, and 11, so only have a few more to go.

5) Have some fun in the garden with bubbles, painting, football and on my swings.

6) Make lots of yummy cakes with my Mummy. My mummy is good at making cakes so this summer I want to learn how to make some of them with her.

7) Get ready for my dancing competition. I don't think the competition happens during the holiday as I think Mummy said it's the end of September, beginning of October time, but I'd like to practice my dancing so I can feel confident on stage.

8) Do YouTube videos for my new channel all about the kids. I want to start putting them up in September. I will need my friends and my Mummy to help with this.

He is my latest video x

Being Six

What's it like being a six-year-old?

Well I am here to answer that question for you... it is fun and adventurous! Being six means you're still a young child that can get away with lots of fun while learning to start being a bigger girl.

I like playing in the garden with my daddy, he plays football and running around like a loony. Also in the garden we like playing hide and seek. There's not many places to hide but I still like it.When we are at home for the day and the weather is not so nice we play rough tumbles but mummy says we might have to be a little bit more careful soon as I am getting a bit too big for it. I don't think I am. Also, daddy is teaching me the piano and other musical instruments and we are in the middle of doing a song together that will hopefully be on my YouTube channel.

School is getting a bit harder, we have to work harder in class but it makes us better at what we're doing. I really enjoy doing maths in school as I think I'm quite good at it. For phonics I'm not in the best group but I find it really easy at it the moment so am going to get mummy to talk to the teacher about it as I would really like to go up a group. We will have to wait and see on that one.

When I'm with mummy it's more relaxing, we do reading, homework and drawing. And mummy gives me the best snuggles going whether we're watching TV together or she's reading me a story at night time. Mummy is in the middle of teaching me how to ride my bike, I'm getting there but it's taken its time and I get a bit scared that I might fall off. But as mummy says it's all about being confident. My mummy also helps with my YouTube, helping me put my ideas onto the big screen.

One down side about being six is that sometime I think I want to do things but I'm just not big enough yet and I get really frustrated with it and annoyed. But as mummy and daddy say, in time I'll be able to do it, it just takes a bit of time sometimes and practicing how to do it. I hope so.

What's in my rucksack (Disneyland Paris)

Hello everyone.
Here is what's in my little rucksack that I took on the train with me to Disneyland Paris.
My mummy helped me packed it.

So first up here is my pencil case and paper as it's going to be a long journey. In my pencil case I made sure that I had a rubber and a pencil sharpener and of course a a few colouring pencils. If I didn't have them it would be a bit pointless bringing the paper.

Next up is my teddy bear, I had to take my Mickey Mouse one as he is from Disney and mummy said that if I lost him I could buy another one.

Food - well as it's a long journey and mummy said the food is expensive we took crisps, chocolate and a few other sweets. We didn't eat all of them but had a few of them and they were very yummy.

The last thing is Lego. I took a little bag of Lego so I could build some things on the way. I didn't actually play with it at all so next time I will just leave that at home.

That's whats in my little rucksack. Hope you enjoy it and please check out the below little video I did.
