September Lookover

What can I say about September? Well I've been back to school and it's going okay, well more than okay. I'm doing pretty well at school, we have to do something called Manga High for Maths homework at this moment in time and I am 8th in the whole entire school, which is pretty good. Over the next week I will try and work my way up into the top five. We also do a reading scheme at school. So far I have read four books and have passed all my books. I'm going to try and keep on top of that, as
I would really like to read 20 by the time we break up for Christmas.

I had a friend's birthday party to go to this month and also I went to a birthday party with my parents for one of my dad's friends. It was my daddy's birthday too!

At school we had a really random school trip to the local library, not entirely sure why we had this trip but we had it. And we had a Vikings banquet at school. All it was, was that we dressed up as Vikings and had a packed lunch in the School hall instead of the dining hall. We are supposedly having another Vikings day in October.

I have been doing lots of dance practice, as I have a competition coming up in October. I think it's on the 8th in the afternoon.

That's all for September, let's get ready for October.

August Lookover

August was full of lots of fun, as we didn't have any school, which was actually great. We went on a little holiday to Scotland, for h we spent a lot of time in the car as it was a lot of driving. Also I stayed at my cousins for a few nights as my mum had to look after my cousins and my auntie was at work. I went to Paradise Wildlife Park, had some bowling fun and had lots of mummy and daughter time making cakes and doing crafts in the house as some of the weather was not great.

It was also my birthday and my mummy's too, it was mine first and then my mum's two days after. That's the week my dad had off work so we did quite a few things that week.

Overall I had a fantastic August, bit of a shame that we are back at school but it's only 6 weeks until our next week off.

Story Time - Broken Wrist

Sorry I haven't been around lately just been having some time off, I've had lots of things going on at school. I have broken my wrist and it makes it hard to write as I broke my wrist on my right, and that's the hand I write with. I have been resting it up and making sure I don't overdo it.

This post is all about when I broke my wrist.  It was on sports day. All was fine for the morning bit of sports day, they were throwing and running races, nothing that interesting. I had lunch as normal and then it was outside in the playground to do some more of the fun games.
The first game was a beanbag race with it on your head, where you walk up and down with it on your head. That was fine but we had some time left afterwards, before we had to go on to the next game so one of the helpers in our class said now to do it backwards. And that is where it all went wrong. I got the beanbag, put it on my head, started walking backwards. That was okay until I got back to the end where my group was waiting for me. I didnt see them as I was walking backwards so I tripped over one of them, fell into the basketball post and I landed really awkwardly on my arm.
Then I pretty much screamed. I got taken straight to First Aid and had some ice put on it. Luckily my mum was there as she works there so she rang my dad and we went to hospital to get it checked out.

And of course I broke my wrist. By the time you have read this I don't have my cast on anymore but I still have to be really careful with my wrist as it's going to be weak for a bit.

It's funny as I'm the first one in my family to actually break a bone, thought it would be one of my cousins first but no, it was me.

Here is a little video that I did last year I hope you enjoy make sure watch and have fun.

May Lookover

28th May - Okay I've completely forgotten to write about my week as I've been busy with school and dancing, I'm just having fun as a child really. I haven't been doing much of YouTube either but would really like to start getting back into that again as I really enjoy it and it let's me get my creativity out. So what's been going on this month?

Well I have been working really hard at school and it's paying off as on most of my tests that include maths and spellings I've been getting full marks, 15 out of 15 on my spellings and 25 out of 25 on my maths work. I now get to start doing the year five maths tests. We've been learning a lot about Shakespeare too and I have been enjoying it but after two weeks of Shakespeare it got kind of boring. We got to look at the play Romeo and Juliet, my mum says there is a film based on this too so maybe we can sit and watch it together, but I'm not sure if we have it on DVD.

Dancing has been going well, there are competitions at the moment but I am not in them, I'm just having a bit of a break from competitions. But I really like not being in them as it's only four of us not doing them and we get taken to one side to learn different things. We are learning how to spin properly and I love doing that. I think my spinning has come on really well, can't wait to do it like the big girls do at dancing. Also we have been doing jumps & straddles, which I am getting pretty good at too.

As of today I have a week off school, it's just me and mummy for the week and I don't think we have any plans, which I'm quite looking forward to. Only plan we have is maybe going to see my auntie and my cousin on Wednesday and of course what we do every time we have off, we will be doing some baking. And she will be helping me make some YouTube videos too as I have so many ideas going on in my head.

Boat Fun

When we went on Holiday to the Isle of Wight we want to a little beach at The Needles, it was a very busy place with lots of things to do. They have rides right at the top of the cliff and some food places. It was all lovely but the best thing of all was going on a speedboat.

It was a bright yellow speedboat called Summer Rose. There was about 10 people I think on the boat and it went so fast. I was a little nervous at first because I've never been on one before but oh my it was fantastic. It went really fast so the wind was in my hair and some of the waves we went over made my tummy do a belly flip. I was even brave enough to stick my hands up in the air. The only bit I didn't like that much was when some of the water went in my face. If you ever get to go on a speedboat I would definitely recommend it.

January Lookover

I thought I would do a monthly blog post where I would write what I got up to each month for you all and for me to look back on at some point.
So here we go.

In January I had to get back into the school routine which was hard. I also joined two school clubs, Choir that I do every term as I really enjoy it as I love to sing, and I also joined a new one called Film Club where we get to sit and watch a film for an hour and then say what we thought about it. I really like that too. I do both my clubs with my best friend Faye. In school we have also started swimming lessons, we have only been three times and I love that too even though I have to wear a swimming hat and it does not look good. It's really hard to put on so I have to ask the teacher help me with that.

Dancing is going really well and I love it. My teachers are great and make us work hard but that's how we get better. I also had a lesson with a woman called Rosina Andrews who is an international dancer and she helped us with pirouettes which I loved and found really fun. I still need to work on my acro as I am great with backbends and flips but I would love to be better.

The other thing that has happend is that I stayed the night at my Nanny's house and she took me to the movies to see Sing. Oh my it was great and I really enjoyed it and I think my Nanny enjoyed it too. Not much else has been going on other than the normal things that I get up to every day.

Here is my youtube video please take a look,

2017

Yes, it is 2017. I had a fantastic year last year going to Disney World with my family and Canada to see some family.

Can I make this year better though? Well I don't think I will be going to Disney again this year but I can still make this year great. I have two big things planned already, they may not be big things to you but they are big things to me... One of them is me having my first music exam in Singing and the other is another Dancing exam and it's been a while since I've done one so I am pretty nervous for both of them. Also this term at school I have started swimming lessons, we only have half an hour in the pool and there are 30 of us trying to learn so we don't get much time, but I still enjoy it.

I plan to work hard this year on the things that I want to do well in and also the things that I'm not so good at.
I hope I can stick to it.

New Tsum Tsum

I have some lovely new Tsum Tsums that I have got over the last few months.

So I thought I'd tell you the new ones that I have.
The first one is Pinocchio. I actually don't think I have seen this film but I do know of the film, I love the way they have put his big pointy nose on there and I love the colour of his bright yellow top.
I have a new princess collection and that is Princess Jasmine, I do enjoy the film Aladdin. And it's always great to have a new princess in my collection.
I have added my first villain to the collection, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, she is one of my favourite villains of all time. They have made her so well in a Tsum Tsum and I love it the way they made her face purple. Carrying on with The Little Mermaid I have Flounder, he is Ariel's friend. This
Tsum Tsum is full of lovely bright colours.
I have a new Winnie the Pooh one to add to my collection too, it's Eeyore who is the saddest character out of Winnie the Pooh and all I really want to do is give him a big hug.
Now another new princess that has been added to my collection is Rapunzel. I love the way they have done her hair, they have made it long and they have put pretty flowers in it. I absolutely love this one.
Now onto The Lion King, I have Simba. Not too much to really say about this one other than it looks like a lion!
And the last one to add to my collection is Christophe from Frozen, I don't have many boy Tsum Tsums so it's nice to add him to my collection.

Here is the Video of all my New Tsum Tsum I hope you all enjoy.

The Next Step

Last Sunday I was lucky girl, I got to go and see The Next Step live at Hammersmith Apollo. Yes I got to watch them dance, I got to see Michelle, James, Giselle, Eldon, Noah and Richelle.
My favourite was Noah, he can really dance. He can do some great Ballet, which I love to watch and do lots of spins in a row. They are all of course great at dancing, if they were bad they wouldn't be in The Next step. They also had someone from Lost and Found and they sang a song which was pretty great and I wasn't expecting it. They also did a few duos and Richelle & Noah were best out of all the them. I don't really know what to say other than it was fantastic and you all need to go and see it. You will not be disappointed. I would like to thank my Nanny for taking me and I can't wait to see if they do it again next year as I would love to go again and see them.

I am now a Tween

Well that's what my mummy said that I am now. She says it's an age when you're not a child any more but you're not yet a teenager, hence the name tween. I still like my kids TV shows but they are slightly older now like So Awkward & The Next Step on CBBC, and Liv and Maddie on The Disney Channel.

I have also started to like a little bit of make up even though my mum doesn't let me wear it out, only when I'm at home. That's why I mostly wear make up when I have my dance competitions. At the moment I'm very much into my clothes and I love doing YouTube videos about them. I am also starting to be a bit more independent and I'm liking that but I still have my mum and dad nearby just in case I need them to help me with stuff.

My time at Center Parcs

The week before we went back to school we went on a little weekend away to Center Parcs. We do this every year. I went with my mum and dad, my auntie, cousins and of course my nanny. I went in the car with my nanny and cousins as mum and dad had to work that day. They joined us down there in the early evening. When they did we were at the disco and they brought pizza with them. That was yummy, so yummy.

The next day we had some things planned but the main thing I wanted to do was go swimming as I love swimming. We also did short tennis, which I am not very good at, but I gave it a good try even if I did hit the ball in the other courts, but it was very fun. We went swimming after that and I loved it, I loved going around the lazy river and trying out the wave machine. I can now stand in the lazy river which helped me out a lot as I am not that confident in the pool but I did it a give it a good try.
That night we went out for dinner in Hucks for my Auntie's birthday and the food there is so good. My cousins and I had the buffet where we can have hotdogs, Chicken Nuggets, chips, some bits of fruit and some other things. They also have a play area where we can go and play while we are waiting for dinner. My mum's food looks great, she had a hotdog with nachos on and I think she loved it.
After dinner we went to the disco and that was the best bit. I loved it and also made some friends that night. That was pretty cool as I think it's the first time I have done that at Center Parcs.

The last day we had a little surprise for my Auntie, we had a few people come along and that was my mum's sister, my mum's mummy and my cousin. We had bowling booked for that morning with them and I had to leave a little early as I had Segway booked... it was so much fun, oh my I really want to do it again. We also had swimming after that and that night my dad cooked us a meal to eat in the villa, it was very nice. Everyone went home that night as they all had things to do the next day (Monday). So did we as I had school but we were cheeky and stayed the night, just the three of us and left really early in the morning at 5.30am. We made it to school in time as well.

I loved this little holiday.

Happy Birthday Izzy

Happy Birthday to my cousin Izzy.

My cousin Izzy (the birthday girl)

It was my cousin's birthday and she had a little party at my Nanny's house with the family and two of her friends. We were only there for 4 hours but it was a fun 4 hours, she had lots of food and a bouncy castle and best of all, all my cousins were there so I played with them.

I only saw them three days earlier as my mum had to go and look after them while my aunt was at work.

As soon as we got there I took my shoes off and went on the bouncy castle. All of my cousins followed me. I love them all lots but sometimes they are hard work and I just want to be on my own a little bit.

My other cousins (Joshua & Zach)

My nanny also has a trampoline with the bright colour balls in the photo above on it and that's fun jumping around it with them on it. It was a really hot day so I changed out of my party dress and into shorts and a t-shirt... it was so much cooler in that.

Me

Now onto the food. It was BBQ and I wasn't really into the BBQ food as we only had one the day before so I had all the other bits they had like Chicken Nuggets and other small bits like that. But best of all was the cake. Izzy had one made by her Mummy and it was a ladybird. She also had these cupcakes made by someone and they are Ben & Holly ones. They are so cute and are really yummy as well.

I am super tired now and I have to go back to school tomorrow.

Make sure you come back next week to see what I have to say (HEHE).

Here are my May Favourites if you fancy checking it out.

Best Bits from 2015

Best Bits from 2015

1) Family Fun - Last year we got up to so many things, we went to Devon to see my cousins, we went to Peterborough to see my other cousins, had a lovely week away in Kessingland where we played on the beach and went to the zoo. Had lots of movie nights at home with mummy and daddy. Also spent quite a bit of time with my two cousins Joshua and Zachary, also little Isabel too.

2) School - 2015 was an okay time at school. I went into Juniors, so year three, in September. Both my parents' evenings were great, I even got called a cracker by my teacher. I think that's a good thing. I have worked hard and you can see that in my work. I became a free reader so I can now choose the books. I also got my pen licence, meaning I can write in pen now.

3) YouTube - My YouTube channel has grown in 2015 and I've really enjoyed doing it. I have plans for 2016 so I will need the help of my mummy and daddy for this one and my friends. So I hope 2016 for YouTube will be a lot better than 2015, I've just got to work hard for it.

4) Disney on Ice - I saw Disney on Ice at Christmas and it was fantastic. I love everything Disney, my mum loves everything Disney, my whole family love everything Disney. So it was great to see and I can't stop singing along to the songs.

5) I can kind of swim now. I went to Center Parks and mummy was teaching me to swim. I can now swim underwater - above water is still a bit of a problem but underwater I'm like a little fishy. I'm so proud of myself as I used to hate water going in my eyes and up my nose and that's fine now. In 2016 I hope to be able to swim above water as well as below water.

6) My Mummy and Daddy. They have helped me through 2015 and I'm so thankful for it. They have bought me some lovely things like my wheelies that I absolutely love wearing, especially round Tesco doing the food shop. Mummy has really helped me with my maths because I was struggling a bit at school. And I have loved doing tents in the front room with daddy.

2016 Ready

Oh yes, I am ready for 2016. Well I am only seven so I don't really need to be ready for much other than school and having lots of fun. So I am ready for the lots of fun part but not 100% on the school part as this year I will be going into Year Four and I know it's going to get harder.

My Goals for 2016

1) Carry on doing well on my YouTube and try and do better on my blog. I have 260 on my YouTube and I am so happy, whoever thought I would get that many people. But by the end of 2016 I'm aiming to get 500 on my channel and I've already gained one more this year so now at 261, only 239 to go. My blog is just a small thing I do and I have about seven people on it. That's fine for now but I'll be working on that this year.

2) Know all my times tables by the end of the year. I know up to my six times table at the moment and I'm learning my seven times tables this month, by the end of the year I should know all my times tables.

3) Carry on doing well at school. Mummy and Daddy said I've been doing well at school and at home. I'm hoping to keep both of them up as if I keep this going at home I do get little treats off my Mummy and Daddy (like my Cath Kidston shoes and my wheelies that I got earlier on in the year last year).

4) Pick my after-school activities. At the moment I do dancing, drama, horse riding and choir. I do choir after school at school with my music teacher but others I go somewhere else for. But I also want to do singing and piano lessons. Mummy said I can't do all of them so have to give up something. I'm not really enjoying horse riding at the moment I just keep getting scared by the horses going really fast so I might give that up for a bit and see if I miss it or not. And take up singing lessons instead as I'm really into that and Daddy can help me do the piano as we have one at home so you might as well use it.

Let me know if you have any goals for 2016. I would love to hear about them and I will keep you up-to-date on mine.

Dancing & Fashion

I love dancing & fashion. I also love sweets but that's not for this blog post. Dancing and fashion are one, well I think they are. You feel good dancing when you have pretty dress to do it in and we even get to have some make-up for our dance.

I have my first two dances this Saturday and I am pretty nervous. My first one up is my duet with Keili and we haven't practiced that much so I know we won't win but as long as I get on that stage and dance in my pretty lilac dress with a lovely tutu (and a few gems at the top of the dress), I'll be happy.

So here is me in the dress without make-up or my hair done up. This will be the last year of me wearing this dress as it's a bit tight and I did have to squeeze into it. So I think that my mum will be selling it onto the little girls in the dance group for the next competition.

I also have a small group one, with Sidney, Poppie and Penny. It's a fast moving one and I find fast pace dancing a little hard, I just hope that I can keep up with them on the day.

I love this outfit, it's cute and bright in colour. The top of it is a little bit itchy but I am not in it for too long. I love the sparkler on the top bit and the skirt. This will also be that last time I wear this one as it doesn't fit that well, so again my Mummy will just sell it on.

That's my first weekend of outfits, I hope I do OK.

Here is what I got for my Daddy for his birthday
